An interview that appears in Scott MacDonald’s book, Canyon Cinema: The Life and Times of an Independent Distributor (University of California Press, 2008), contains an error (bottom of page 77), in which I misattribute the design and construction of Loren Sears’s optical printer (illustrated here) to Lenny Lipton.
